Erin and Lexy just hosted the summer edition of Eat Drink Create on a lovely evening at a park in Denver – and the weather was perfect. I mean, who would complain about spending your time in a park with a bunch of other creative people eating the best pie ever? I was lucky enough to be the videographer for this sweet event (check out the spring recap) and you can catch a glimpse of all the fun in the video above! If you want to see photos and get more details about the sponsors, check out Erin’s post and Lexy’s post.
Working on this project got me thinking about how blessed I am to be able to do what I love – even if it’s just part time right now. Even if it means working nights & weekends. These are the projects that make me happy.
And I’m gonna keep doing the stuff that makes me happy, even if it means a little hustle.
I loved this video – you captured some awesome moments! And the hustle looks totally worth it! P.S. What do you use to record your videos?
Thanks Christie! I actually use a DSLR to record my videos, I have a Canon 5D Mark ii 🙂
I definitely agree that it’s so important to spend your time doing what you love. If it’s something that you can turn into a business one day, that’s even better! 🙂
So true, Kory! It’s so important for your creativity/overall well being 🙂
Hey! Visiting for the first time from the Be Happy Linkup and just wanted to say I adore the look of your blog! It’s so pretty! Excited to read more from you 🙂
Thank you so much Alyssa! Glad you stopped by 🙂
Loved the video! Your post help bring me some inspiration and keeping my focus on what i love to do.
Thanks! I love the photo of your westie – those are some of my favorite dogs 🙂
what a sweet video! wish i had a chance to go the party. how fun you all are! if you are ever in LA, please invite =)
i understand what you mean about hustling. i work full time, so i blog late nights and weekends. it’s crazy, but it’s my passion and i love it so much….keep going and never give up. that’s what i tell myself every single day.
Carmen
Thanks Carmen – we would love to take Eat Drink Create on the road! 😉 and that’s definitely a great mantra!
