I have been on the hunt for a sequin skirt for a few months, and it has actually been quite an ordeal, but I finally found one that I love and it has come home to live with me. My birthday is coming up next week, and I thought that would be a good occasion to debut the sparkle! BUT, here’s where you, my lovely readers, come in.
I’ve got a few ideas for how to style my shiny new skirt, and now I need some input!
Should I go bold with lots of bright colors?
Should I pair it with textural neutrals and let the sequin be the statement?
Or should I dress it down and keep it simple?
Oh the possibilities! I’d love for you to weigh in – which styling is your favorite?

Go all out with colors!!!! Pretend it’s a neutral and wear the colors with it! Besides… it is for your birthday… so anything goes! 🙂 I recently got a little bit crazy and bought bright coral shoes, so now I’m working on how to incorporate pink shoes into my wardrobe.
I like the 1st and 2nd options. It would depend on the event which one I would go with tho. -T
