Thinking about this today as I come back to the fickle & chilly springtime of Colorado after a weekend of lovely weather & time with family in Texas.
If you’re doing it right, you never come home from traveling the same person you left – and I think the familiar surroundings of home are really the only barometer for that change. It’s a great comfort, coming home, but also a great reminder. Travel and change are forever intertwined with one another.
