Another group we saw in Durango at the Winter Jubilee with Annie Brooks is SHEL: four sisters named Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza from Fort Collins, Colorado.
Above is their latest EP and they have their first full-length album coming out this summer! Thrilled for these girls – there’s no question about their musical talent (way up there, for serious), their lyrics have just the right amount of whimsy, not to mention they are some of the sweetest ladies you’ll ever meet.

Take a listen to today’s soundtrack – SHEL does a cover of “The Battle of Evermore” by Led Zeppelin. If you ever have a change to see them play live – do it! Their energy on stage is amazing, and being sisters gives such a fun dynamic to their performances.
They have a free download of their song “Ruby Slippers” on their homepage right now, and here’s the rest of their music on iTunes. These super-creative and talented ladies are always inspiring me to think outside the box, make my music more interesting and to have a little bit of imagination.
